About the Host
Robert grew up on Long Island with a passion for all sports. He was a distance runner at Adelphi university and still holds the school record for a college athlete in the marathon, running the Boston Marathon at 2:35:11 back in 1983. He was fortunate to compete on four USA Maccabiah teams in Israel, Berlin and Brazil. He still competes on a high level today as a masters runner. Through running Robert was a coach and physical education teacher, and practiced podiatric medicine for 23 years on Long Island.
